Privacy Policy — Blue Line Shop Tracker

Blue Line Shop Tracker ("the app") is a shop-management tool used by Blue Line Motor Werks to track customers, vehicles, parts receipts, and invoices. This policy explains what the app does with data.

The short version

The app stores your shop's records on your device and syncs them only to a server you operate. The developer does not collect, receive, see, or have access to any of your data. There are no ads, no analytics, and no third-party tracking.

What the app handles

Information you enter or scan to run your shop, including:

• Customer contact details you choose to record (name, phone, email, address)

• Vehicle details (year/make/model, VIN, plate, odometer, notes)

• Parts and receipt data, invoices, payments, and notes

• Photos of receipts and work that you capture or import

The app does not collect location, contacts, advertising identifiers, or usage analytics.

Where your data lives

• On your device: records are stored locally so the app works offline.

• On your server: when you sync, data is sent only to the private server you have configured (a computer you own and control on your own network). It is not sent to the app's developer or to any third-party cloud service by the app.

Camera and photos

The app uses the camera and photo library only to capture or import receipt and job photos at your request. Receipt text recognition happens on your device using Apple's built-in Vision framework. Photos are stored locally and on your own server; they are not uploaded anywhere else.

Services you connect (optional)

If you configure your own server to send invoice emails (via your email account) or to look up part information (via an AI service), those features run on your server using credentials you provide, and are governed by those providers' policies. The app itself does not transmit your data to those services.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data. The developer has no access to it.

Retention and deletion

You control your data. You can edit or delete records in the app, and you can remove all data by deleting it on your device and on your server.

Children

The app is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
